Welcome to the ISA Community!

I am sincerely grateful to serve the students, families, and staff at the International School of the Americas in North East ISD. As a proud NEISD graduate myself (Churchill High School, Class of '97), returning to serve in the district that shaped me is a true honor.

My journey in education began over two decades ago as a middle school reading teacher and coach, and my commitment to student growth has driven my career ever since. Before joining ISA in August 2024 as Assistant Principal, I served as the Academic Dean of Curriculum and Instruction and a teacher leader at Harris Middle School, as well as an educator at Eisenhower Middle School. I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Across my career—whether building master schedules, analyzing data to support curriculum, coaching athletics, or mentoring new teachers—my focus remains fixed on supporting the whole child and empowering educators.

Beyond school, my family is my greatest joy. I am a proud wife and mom to three amazing kids: an Army combat medic, a current ISA freshman, and a 5th grader at Long’s Creek Elementary. I look forward to working alongside our incredible faculty and families to make this a wonderful school year!
